THE PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICE

The Project Management Office consists of a well-trained team of professionals with university degrees in diverse fields, such as international relations, media studies, modern languages, planning, and telecommunications engineering.

The Project Management Office follows applicable guidelines established by the Project Management Institute, the Project Management Body of Knowledge, Third Edition, v1.3, and ISO 9000 norms relating to processes, communication, strategy and Quality Assurance.
The Project Management Office is responsible for balancing project scope, budget and deadline.

THE PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT

The Production Department carries out its work using manuals, checklists, and quality protocols developed by the Quality Assurance Department, and in accordance with ISO 9000 norms and the F 2575 - 06 Standard Guide for Quality Assurance in Translation of ASTM International.
Translation Back Office is ISO 9001:2008-certified for high quality management services of linguistic processes. The Production Department uses the most up to date translation tools and software needed to get the job done efficiently.

QUALITY DEPARTMENT

The Quality Assurance Department is in charge of the overall quality of every translation project. It is the largest department at Translation Back Office, and consists of linguists with 5 year undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. We develop manuals, style guides, check lists, glossaries, quality protocols based on ISO 9000 norms and the F 2575 - 06 Standard Guide for Quality Assurance in Translation of ASTM International.
The Quality Assurance Department also organizes training courses and workshops for the rest of the Translation Back Office staff; and supervises the linguistic (translation, editing, proofreading) and non-linguistic (receipt, delivery, and general project management) phases of all projects.


CROSS CHECKS

Cross checks are in place at each stage of the production process. They reduce risk of non-compliance with client requirements in case of unforeseen obstacles.
Back ups are also maintained of all projects even after delivery to clients, including all deliverable files.
